EV Cost by State doesn't have accounts and doesn't collect your name or email. The calculator runs entirely in your browser; what you type isn't sent to us.

To start the calculator on your state, the page asks our server which U.S. state your connection appears to come from, using Cloudflare's built-in location lookup. Only the state is returned, and nothing is stored.

Tesla referral codes you share

If you add a referral code, we store only the link itself, your optional one-line note, the date, and daily counts of how often it was shown and clicked.

To count each visitor's click on a code only once a day, we keep a scrambled one-way fingerprint of the connection for up to two days. It can't be turned back into an IP address or identify you, and it's deleted automatically. We don't ask for your name or email.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across sites.

Referral link

If you click the Tesla referral link, you go to Tesla's site, and Tesla's privacy policy applies there.
